How AC Works
You can always get more performance from your a/c system by doing few things yourself.
Condenser
Scan condenser for bugs, dirt or leaves. If blocked, wash it with water jet at home or any service station at nearest petrol pump.
Condenser Fan Slow
Watch out for the condenser fan speed. If you feel that the speed of the fan is slow than normal, get the fan serviced from an electrical shop. Normal speed of the fan speeds up the condensation and hence improve the cooling.
Low Refrigerant
All a/cs require a specific amount of gas. If the gas pressure is lower than the recommended level, there will be less cooling. To check the gas level yourself, look though the glass window in the drier bottle receiver fitted in the a/c system. If you see milky bubbles, get the gas topped-up from a/c service shop. Remember, there are two types of gases available, viz., R-12 and R-134a. These gases shall not be mixed. All new cars have R-134a system that is more eco-friendly (CFC not used).
We carry a dedicated machine to service ac system with R134A system.
